We are currently experiencing problems with our Tata Communications connection. All other connections from other service providers are operating properly.

This failure is unrelated to Digital Days equipment and Tata is currently investigating the issue on their end.

We will provide an update as soon as it is available. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Update (11:40 pm EST): Tata confirms the failure of their Montreal router. ETR is 30 minutes. They are reloading the router rather than moving to a cold standby.

Update (2:50 am EST): After much longer than expected, service from the Montreal router of Tata has resumed. Still no update as to the reason it took so long.

Update (4:30 am EST): The Tata Communications Montreal router has failed again.

Update (5:00 am EST): Tata has indicated that their previous attempt has failed. They contacted Cisco and they are now reloading the router once again. New ETR is 1 hour.

Update (10:20 am EST): Although Tata’s Montreal router has been reloaded and brought back up, it still appears to be experiencing CPU spikes that are causing lost packets.

Update (11:30 am EST): Tata appears to have resolved it’s router issue and our Tata link is now fully operational again. Mail services will be migrated back to the Tata link shortly.

As mentioned earlier in the year, our SSL vendors have been transitioning to 2048-bit roots for all SSL certificate products including all SSL products sold through Digital Days. As a result of the transition, our vendors now require 2048-bit Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs) to be submitted with most SSL certificate orders.

Please note that while it is technically possible to submit a 1024-bit CSR with some shorter-term SSL products for some brands of SSL certificates sold through Digital Days, we strongly recommend that you require and submit 2048-bit CSRs with all certificate orders . Requiring 2048-bit CSRs for all orders now will ensure that you avoid any complications both now and in the future as our vendors continue the transition process.

With the arrival of the month of December this year, Digital Days celebrates it’s 10th year in business.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their support (some of whom have been with us for all 10 years!) and to say what a pleasure it continues to be to serve our clients and participate in their growth and success. It’s not in every business that one has the good fortune of having clients become friends, and that fact is certainly not lost on me.

Once again, thank you for your business, and all the best this coming year!
